LAW OF ATTRACTION Principle to attract the right JOB!!!!!!

Some of the questions you need to ask yourself to get some career Clarity. Answer these questions to find out which is the most perfect career path for you. When you have answered these questions you will have a very deep understanding to your inner-self. According to Law of Attraction principles, you’ll draw into your life whatever you give your attention, energy and focus. You’ll find that clarity works like magic in bringing you closer to landing your dream job.

1) What passions, strengths, talents, and transferable skills can you build your career on? What job titles fit your skill set?
•             What skills energize you, and which ones burn you out? What makes you lose your sleep and track of time? Yet you feel invigorated!

2) How do your natural preferences and personality type factor into choosing your ideal work?
•             Do you prefer to work with people, data or things? A combination of all three? In which order and to what degree each? How do you like to focus your attention (with people or alone), receive information (using facts or ideas), make decisions (based on logic or people and values) and direct your life (organized and planned or spontaneous and open)?

3) Where do you want to work in terms of industries and target companies?
•             Do you dream of a large corporate with a big name tag and opportunities for growing up the corporate ladder? Or small firms like start ups where there is immense growth and learning potential?

4) Which workplace environment/culture will you thrive in?
•             One that is conservative, socially-conscious, employee-focused and job oriented? One with a clear vision and mission or that “goes with the flow”?
•             One that is controlled and predictable? Or unstructured and variable and what might seem to others as chaotic?

5) Why do you want to work, according to your deeper mission and purpose?
•             Imagine you in your old age and when you sit back and reflect on your life, what would you be thinking? Would you be happy with how you have spent your life? What is the legacy that you are leaving behind for this world?

 6) Who have you always wanted to be “when you grow up?”
•             Various psychologists have proved it and strongly believe that most of us still enjoy doing the activities which we did as a child. What were yours? Think about how you can convert them into your adult life work.

Two morals to the same story

Perspectives! !!!!

One of the simplest story that I tell my daughter to make her understand perspectives or in other words more than one understanding of a situation is from tenali raman's stories. I am sharing it with you.

Tenali RamaKrishna and the three Dolls

The great king Krishna Deva Raya had a lot of wise ministers in his court.
The wisest of them was Tenali Rama. One day, a merchant came to the king’s
court from a foreign kingdom. He saluted the king and then said, “Your Majesty,
I have heard from many people that you have very wise ministers in your court.
But with your permission, I would like to test the wisdom of your ministers.”
This aroused the king’s interest and he gave the merchant his permission.
The merchant gave the king three dolls that looked identical. He said,
“Though these dolls look similar, they are different in some way. If your
ministers can find out the difference, I will bow to their wisdom. But if
they can’t, I will assume that there are no wise ministers in your court.
I will be back in thirty days for the answer.”
The king asked all of his ministers except Tenali Rama to assemble. He gave
them the three dolls and told them to find the difference in them in three days’
time. But at the end of three days, none of the ministers could figure out the difference.
The king got worried and called Tenali Rama. He said to him, “Tenali, I did not summon you
before because I thought that this problem will be too simple. But since no one has been able
to find the solution, it is up to you now. Find the difference between these dolls.”
Tenali took the three dolls and went away.
The problem proved difficult for Tenali too, but at last, after a lot of effort, he
figured out the difference. He went to the court with the three dolls on the day that
the merchant had to return. Then, he announced in front of the whole court that he
had found the difference between the dolls. He said, “These three dolls are different
because one of them is good, one medium and one bad.” When everyone asked Tenali
that which doll was which, he showed them a tiny hole that was present in the ears
of each of the dolls. Then, he took a very thin wire and put it in the hole of the
first doll’s ear. The wire came out from the doll’s mouth. He did the same with the
second doll and the wire came out from the doll’s other ear. In the third doll,
the wire went to the heart and did not come out.
Tenali Rama explained, “In the first doll, the wire went in through the ear and
came out through the mouth. So, this doll is bad as it represents people who cannot
keep a secret. In the second doll, the wire came out of the other ear. So, it is medium
and represents harmless people who do not understand what is said to them. The third doll,
in which the wire went to the heart and did not come out, represents good people who will
preserve the secret that you tell them.”
The king, the merchant and all the courtiers were very impressed with Tenali’s wise answer.
Then Tenali said, “But there can be another explanation too. The first doll represents people
who gain knowledge and spread it among others, so it is good. The second doll represents people
who do not understand what they are taught, so it is medium. The third doll represents people who
have knowledge but keep it all to themselves. They do not teach anyone anything and so they are bad people.
The king was even more impressed.

Is there any other interpretation? ?? Please leave a comment.

5 Ways to Climb the Ladder of Success in your Career!

Most people have ambitions and aspirations for where they’d like to take their career—and where they’d like their career to take them. Whether you are a recent college grad gaining real world experience in office etiquette for the first time, or you have been in your current position for a while and find your trajectory in the company at somewhat of a standstill, these 5 tips will help you exude the energy of someone who is ready to take on more responsibility in their professional life, and aid you in achieving new career goals.
Always Be Prepared
If your current job or position doesn't seem like it requires a lot of daily preparation, then you are in the perfect position to improve your standing in the company. Coming into the office well dressed, especially if you work in a more casual environment, lets others know that you take what you do seriously. If you have a deadline or presentation, be the person who has the work completed ahead of schedule—and then use that extra time to look for possible improvements. Nothing says “I am valuable to this company” like someone who is always ready to give their all.
Work on Effective Communication
Communicating with your managers and coworkers in an effective manner is absolutely essential to furthering your career. Being a good employee is one thing, but being able to convey new ideas, handling misunderstandings or issues with ease, and knowing the right questions to ask puts you on a level above the rest. Bonus: having a good relationship with your superiors makes it much easier to talk about possible advancements or promotions. Effective and positive Communication is something that I keep stressing on.
Take Initiative
It is easy to get caught up in your everyday responsibilities and do the minimum amount of work that is required, but this sort of individual does not often earn huge promotions or move upwards in a company. The successful professional, no matter where they rank in the corporate food chain, always brings new ideas to the table. Volunteering and showing that you don’t mind putting in extra effort attracts a lot of positive attention from higher-ups. Again I would like to add a point here that just taking on and executing the extra job is just not enough you also need to be smart enough to look for the right opportunity to bring it to your boss`s notice. Let me share an example here – working for Boss Z(Z) were two employees A & B. Both were highly competent, witty, hard working, smart and knew how to get the work done and also fulfill additional responsibilities. When an opening for senior level promotion came up Z was extremely confused to promote one. The job went to B. Simple when both A & B figured out that there was an opening for a promotion, A thought silently to himself that he has done all that he can and he needs to get the job. However B went a step ahead and communicated the desire to get promoted to Z clearly.
Be Consistent
Those who consistently deliver great work and handle emotions and situations in a stable and even manner are better suited for upper-level positions in a company. Openly expressing too much anger or annoyance at a situation or towards those you work with will gain you a reputation for handling things poorly. Likewise, if you are too easy-going or bring too much of your personal life to work, you may have difficulty gaining respect in the office.
Define Personal Goals

While you may not know exactly where you’d like your career to take you, it is important to strategize to a certain degree. Could you benefit from moving to a different department in the company for the same pay—something commonly referred to as a “lateral move’’? What positions would you ideally want to work towards, and what skills can you be working on right now in order to strengthen your chances of being promoted? Enrolling in programs that provide leadership training for motivated professionals will help you determine—and improve upon— areas where certain necessary skills are lacking. Better still get yourself a Career Coach who will help you analyze your strength and weaknesses and motivate you to reach and climb the success ladder!
